Here’s how it works

You place a delivery order with us electronically or send it via the interface.

We arrange a delivery date with the recipient.

We deliver the consignment as requested to where it will actually be used.

On request we'll unpack the item, set it up, and get it started.

Depending on the order, we can dispose of the packaging material or take the old device / furniture away with us.
Collection and shipping
- From Monday to Friday
- Collection in Switzerland and abroad
- Posting in our logistics centers
The order information can be easily submitted via the online service or EDI interface.
Alternatively: pre-collection via small consignments in a separate order.
Delivery
Delivery is available from Monday to Saturday throughout Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein.
Who is this service for?
The installation service is an industry solution aimed at customers who wish to entrust Swiss Post with the delivery, assembly or installation of items of all shapes and sizes, as well as other interesting value-added services for their end customers. For example, we can deliver a freezer directly to a basement or a large sliding door wardrobe to a child’s room, including assembly and disposal of the old wardrobe.
Preconditions
You have a billing relationship and an individual contract with Swiss Post.
Notes on preparing your consignments
The following goods can be sent in conjunction with the installation service:
- Goods that are not subject to relevant regulations governing the transportation of dangerous goods. Exception: Goods in accordance with the “LQ” or Limited Quantities exemption.
- Goods that are packaged securely for transportation and the nature of which does not constitute a threat to the environment or to the health and safety of Swiss Post’s employees.
